Graphic Design Services in Yorkshire

About us
My design career started at the tender age of 15, when I opened a ‘dodgy’ version of MX freehand and for the first time. From that point on I knew design was for me.

Inspired by album cover artwork and also by my dad who owned a small printers in the heart of West Yorkshire, I decided to leave school at 16 and head off to Leeds Art & Design College to study Graphic Design. In July 2011 I graduated from York University with a BA Hons in Graphic Design and have been working in the industry ever since.

I am available to undertake freelance projects and find myself eager to work with people who love their craft as much as I do.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me gardening, brewing beer or playing with my brass band.

Prezi Presentations

What is Prezi?
Prezi is an online presentation tool created in 2008 by Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai. It’s cloud based system enables users to create an account and access your presentations anywhere (as long as you have an internet connection). Prezi’s unique non-linear approach to presentations sets it apart from other tools, meaning you can ditch the old slide-by-slide format and create new distinctive and eye-catching Prezis!

Prezi Vs Powerpoint
So, you need to create a presentation…Prezi or MS Powerpoint? The answer to this question is prezi:

1. It’s Beautiful

Most presenters use MS Powerpoint to present. We have all sat through one of those long, tedious, slide-by-slide presentations and know that 30 minutes usually feels like 3 hours. Prezi is different. It is much more interactive and the features built in to the software will help keep your audience’s attention throughout. Prezi also looks a lot more modern and professional than an old and clunky Powerpoint.

2. It’s Good For SEO
If you’re a business or marketing professional then this is probably the biggest reason to switch. Prezi does not promote this feature, however it is proven that embedding a Prezi into one of the pages of your website will help boost it’s search engine ranking.

3. Interactivity
You can easily embed elements from other websites, as well as YouTube videos, images and audio. The non-linear is a unique advantage that Prezi has over Powerpoint, meaning you can rotate and zoom where ever you want at the click of a button.

4. Accessibility
Prezi’s cloud based system means that you can log into your account and edit your presentation on any device with an internet connection. You can also present online too. Prezi also have a range of apps that can be downloaded onto your mobile devices, meaning you can even present from your phone!

5. Sharing
The sharing feature that is built in is great. Presentations can be shared through a single link, through email, on Facebook and even downloaded as a PDF. As I also mentioned above, Prezi have a range of apps, making sharing even more accessible!
